Please note that our product is a heavy-duty, solid aluminum doorstep threshold plate designed to provide structural edge protection and a smooth physical transition. It does not include soft rubber insert pieces or weatherstripping. However, because of its flat 4" or 6" profile, it functions as an exceptional, unyielding base that can easily be paired with aftermarket rubber garage door threshold seals or bottom insert seals if your layout requires an absolute airtight, weatherproof seal kit.

Modifying our door threshold trim on-site is highly straightforward. To customize your 48" or 72" track, clamp the metal firmly to a stable workbench. Use a standard compound miter saw equipped with a sharp carbide saw blade designed explicitly for cutting non-ferrous aluminum trims, or use a fine-toothed hand hacksaw. Always cut with a slow, steady stroke, and use a fine metal file to remove any sharp burrs left on the cut edges.
